Happy cHINESE new year!!
This year is a rather different chinese new year for me. firstly we have a new member in the family. ho zeming, my little nephew only 2 weeks old. he's so so little!!! but with so big eyes!! secondly, because he's not even a month old, its rather not appropriate to invite the lion dance troupe over, will zhong with each other. so this year i cannot get to see that handsome guy anymore. sob sob. i only see him once a year lei!! (though when i'm in aj i still get to see him come down to train the students there, now that i'm out of that school, no more!!!!) with no lion dance troupe this year, it seems that the group gathered at my granny's house this chu er scatters very very fast. in the past they'll come early for lunch, sit ard for the perf then move over to my aunt's house down the road for another short perf then they leave. our visiting schedule is roughly the same lo as before, but this year i get to drive to a couple of places on chu er. the first day is out since i stayed up late on the eve, don't have the concentration and strength to ensure safety throughout.
on more personal basis, this year i realise how much older i am liao.. i getlesser ang baos, cause many of the relatives just seem to think that i'm one of those grown ups ba... or that i'm working already so i no need for ang baos.. haha. sigh... and whats more this is the first year i tried on makeup. glad to hear some compliments coming my way. haha. i'm so ego. but sob sob, lesser ang baos... sigh.. another new year resolution, to slim down!!!!sigh...
went to watch constantine yesterday with all my cousins.. or rather the teenage cousins. 6 of us plus clara's bf. we went to toa payoh to watch the 9plus show then went to play pool. i still suck at the game la.the show is nice. its not some horror shows or watever, i would rather clasify it as a thriller, similar to the feeling the book "angels and demons" by dan brown.i really like it. but think only clara and me thinks its nice. :)
today no school, so staying home to do some work hopefully! till no, not good start at all. i left tmr to do it. sunday will be seeing my jc cca members again!! monday's valentine's day!!!!
